  A person's memory or perception(s) of events will always differ, degrade and scatter over time.

This was my Brain Mesh-Mod 12 (circa 2016), mostly made with 3D Printed parts. This version used dry connections, verses the old fashioned wet connections.  :)

     So in 2003, I developed a rudimentary hardware headset, which used a noninvasive technique to invoke and read a P3 response from very specific areas in the brain. The headset instantaneously and unbiasedly, delineate signals from within the brain and compares them to a person's verbal accounts or memories.  Basically I created a Visually Stimulated Recent Memory detector... 

Tech POC: 

    My algorithm was based on a "visual locust response". So when people wear the headset and are asked "Have you seen Saddam Hussein" or "Do you know where he is", they are then quickly flash an image of Saddam Hussein, as the headset quickly looks for very, very specific P3 responses within the subjects brain.

  Basically, like a locust response, when someone hears a question, they brain instantaneously starts to decode the questions and tries to "visualize" it.  So when you then quickly flashed an image of someone, their brain also instinctively tries to associated and connect to a recent "visual memory" (image).

   The headset instantly compares the responses to the question, "Have you seen Saddam Hussein?" to the flash of an image of Saddam Hussein. If the subject says either "Yes, I know where he is" or "No, I've never seen him," the headset can confirm their truth. Red led light for False answer, a Green led light for Truth.

   This subconscious and involuntary process involves neurons and neurological pathways which search stored "visual associated associations and memories" or creating a new visual associations in a different part of the brain, which is a key to my POC algorithmic headset.

Functionality

    So by flashing someone a picture/image, you'd either see a Green or Red light response on the headset. So if you saw a Green LED light illumination, then that person had not seen that person/image before or recently. But a Red LED illumination, would indicate that this person has had a very recently interaction or a very fresh memory or association.

  Standard Operating Procedure

     Unfortunately, the SOP - Standard Operating Procedures for the Military at the time was that they never touch or removing a turban or head wrap. This was forbidden, as it was a social or religious insult, which when you are trying to build trust, would defeat. So it made my Tech/headset impossible to use in the field (other than at Guantanamo or with an active combatant). :/ 

Government SOP

     Unfortunately, the Military and our Government used "conventionally" SOP to try to win locals "trust" and "respect", with billions of dollars given away to local "informants", elders, affiliations and others, to get information or intel, which the US Military desperately needed. 

  Regrettably, after analysis (data from 2002-2012) of all the expenditures, only about 00.984% of the Billions disbursed funds actually generated a positive/correct intel.  Apparently simply giving people money to purchase information is a severely flawed SOP of our Military and Government...
